Workshop Options
We offer three main workshop types:
2-hour cutting workshop (age 12+) – a deeper dive into glass fusing techniques
1-hour cutting workshop (age 12+) – a shorter introduction for beginners
1-hour no-cutting workshop (age 5+) – ideal for children, larger groups, or anyone preferring a gentler approach
We can also adjust ages depending on individual needs, so just ask!
What to Wear: Please wear closed-toe shoes, and shorts or skirts should fall below the knee. We provide aprons and safety goggles.
Minimum booking for all workshops is 2 people.

Your Creativity, Your Way
At Teylu, we encourage you to be as creative as you like. You can:
Use one of our templates if you’d prefer guidance
Bring your own design and work with us to create a template suitable for glass fusing (please email your design beforehand so we can prepare)
Choose from a wide range of materials, colours, and glass types
We also offer a variety of mounting options included in the price — hanging, coaster feet, or “as is.” For a little extra, you can choose framing, tealights, wall mounts, or wood mounting. Some options may depend on your design and size.
---
Private Groups, Parties & Events
Our 1-hour no-cutting workshops are perfect for larger groups, parties, or events, including:
Children’s parties
Hen and stag parties
Team-building sessions
Charities, art groups, and more. These workshops are also able to be mobile for larger groups, holiday parks, care homes, childrens homes, retirement villages and more.
We can personalise your booking, and you can add extra time before or after the workshop for food, drinks, or a catch-up. Local breweries (like Howls and Bude Coastal Brewery) sometimes host events, and there’s a small café onsite where pre-ordered food can be brought in for longer bookings.
Please note: food and uncovered drinks are not allowed at the workshop table, and although we keep the space tidy, glass can spread during sessions.
---
Taster Workshops & Accessibility
If you’re unsure about glass fusing, our 1-hour workshops are a great introduction. They’re also ideal for anyone who may have strength issues or prefers not to cut glass. Our mission is to make glass fusing accessible for everyone, with plenty of materials and techniques available to create beautiful pieces safely.
