Overview of our Workshop
At Teylu we like to treat our customers as one big family. We run workshops at a variety of times throughout the day and all year round. We can be flexible with our times, so if a time doesn't suit your group please get in contact and we can find a time to suit you, we can also run workshops in the evenings and on a Sunday. We are an inclusive setting, making our workshops suitable for all needs and abilities. We have headphones for those who find the noise too much, communication cards and fidgets. We are wheelchair friendly and have a wide range of materials meaning fused glass art can be accessible for everyone and anyone. We also have 3 workshops to choose from our 2 hour over 12s course, our 1 hour over 12s course and no cutting 1 hour workshop suitable from age 5 years. We can be flexible with the ages depending on the individual.
When attending our courses please make sure that you wear close toed shoes and that shorts and skirts are below the knee. We can provide aprons and safety googles.
At Teylu we pride ourselves on letting you be as creative as you want to be. We do not restrict you with what you can make. We have a rough size amount of glass you can use and if you wish to go bigger you are able to pay a bit extra. We have templates of many items so you dont even need to be able to draw, or you can design your own peice and work with us to come up with a template that will work with the glass to give you the finished item you desire. Please note that if you have your own design it is best to have it printed out before hand and also email it to us as coming up with the template and getting the correct size and pieces can take time so will eat into your booked time slot. We also have a variety of mounting options, hanging, as is or coaster feet are included in the price, but for a little extra you can choose to have your item framed, on a tealight, wall fixed or on wood. the choice of mounting option does depend on what you are making and size has to be considered with framing and wood mounting.
Our one hour workshop with no cutting is a great choice for those looking to book for a larger group, event or party. These workshops work great for charities, are groups, children's parties, hen parties and team building events plus much more. We are able to personalise bookings if you wish to book for a hen or party and you can choose to pay extra to have extra time added on before or after if you wish to bring food and drink and have a natter before or after your workshop. There is a number of breweries on site that often have events on such as howls and Bude coastal brewery so if you are thinking of having a party you could tie it in with one of their events, for information on what they have on follow them on facebook, there is also a small cafe that you can pre order food from which we are happy for you eat at the workshop if you have booked out a longer time. Please do bear in mind that although we do our best to sweep, hoover and clean glass does go everywhere at times and we do not allow food or uncovered drinks at the table whilst a course is taking place.
our 1 hour cutting and 1 hour no cutting workshops are also the perfect choice if you are a bit unsure what glass fusing is all about as it gives you a nice little taster of the longer 2 hour workshops. These workshops are also perfect for those who may have strength problems and find cutting a little difficult. We have made it our mission to make sure everyone can try glass fusing with or without having to cut glass. We have a wide range of materials that you can use to create stunning pieces without having to cut any glass.
We now also run mobile workshops which is our no cutting workshop format so if you are part of a group, care, home, retirement village, children's home etc please get in contact with us and we can give you more information on our mobile workshops that are now available.
We are open all year round, come rain or shine and can help guide you on the right workshop for you. Our inbox is always open for any query big or small.

All About Information Security
All personal information such as name and contact number is kept in a diary and locked away, only staff have access to your information on a need to know basis. This will be if we need to confirm a booking, reschedule your booking or to arranging pick up of items made . Information is not passed on to anyone else unless permission is given.
When taking photos we will ask you if you are happy for the photos to be used for marketing such as on social media, website and flyers, leaflets.
